Who in here has seen the movie Lakeview Terrace? (this is a question based off of it)?
So I saw on Lakeview Terrace a struggle between interracial couples. Now I think the whole Black and White interracial thing is not as exotic, in my opinion Hispanic and Asian or Black and Asian is a lot more exotic of a couple and I want to see more of those.

So on a 1 to 10 scale, how much struggle would the following interracial pairings face in America in terms of how others view them?

Now both the black female/Asian male couples got 20s cause from what I’ve heard..Asian guys are expected to marry Asian women. Since you know they pass on the family name, etc. I’m not saying that Asian women aren’t told to date Asian too, it’s just that from what I’ve heard..Asian parents are more willing to accept their daughter dating IR than their son. Plus black women are for some reason expected to date black men, and only that. So if one was dating IR..there would probably be some who didn’t approve of it in the black community. And there’s all these other complications too.

Enter the Dragon (1973) IMDB rating: 7.40 Plot: Hong Kong circa 1973. First off, GameStop wont buy your PC game, just FWI.

And i would guess… anywhere from 40 to 70 dollars. You really shouldn’t trade in your games to GameStop, unless you NEED to. I consiter trading in games to a store is like taking them to a pawn shop, a dime on every dollar, and just flat out not a good idea.

I would say about total: $130-$140. Almost all would go for around 7 to $10 and the new/ popular ones would go for 20 to $30. Hopes this helps. To be honest though, gamestop rips you off real bad. They pay you crap money for the game, and then they sell it for more.

Since they’re for old consoles they won’t give you much. They probably won’t even accept your PC games, because they could have been corrupted or something.

Let’s see… I’d say for the whole lot of it minus the computer games they’d give you about 55/60 bucks tops.

You’ll be lucky to get $1 for any PS2 games if anything at all. Your DS games $1-$5 at the most. Your PC games $0 because they don’t accept them.

I just traded Resident Evil 5, and got $8 for it. It’s a newer game but nothing for it. I tried to sell it but no luck.

Don’t bother calling Gamestop because they hardly ever/never give trade values over the phone.

a little background..
im only 18 and so was my girlfriend (well ex) and we were together for a little over 2 years..
we were high school sweethearts met just before our final year. her parents got divorced shortly after graduating. we both graduated and moved in together going to separate universities. we both finished our first semester and then she decided to drop out completely in second however i continued my engineering degree. she was diagnosed with depression in the first week of the mid year holidays and pescribed with antidepressents. so during the second semester half of my time was spent making sure she was ok, and half on university… yes i failed subjects but thats not the point. i had no idea that she was unhappy. there was a rocky part in the beginning of our relationship where she lied to me… about lots of things, not huge things, but big enough for me not to trust her… and then i began to trust her again just before she was diagnosed.. and we continued for about 6 months like that.. i thought everything was fine, and a week ago she walked into the room we were sharing and said we need to talk… im not happy… im leaving you… and she walked out. that night she got her dad and sister to move all her furniture out.. the night before we were talking about getting married… she didnt contact me for a week and then she sent me an email saying she felt too grown up, and that was coz we moved in 2gether, and that she felt she couldnt be herself around me and she couldnt see a future for us… she says she just wants to be friends.. but i cant go to just being friends when i still love her… it would kill me… she was my first love… i know her and there is no chance of us getting back together.. but i still love her…

so now im living alone struggling to pay the bills and afford to stay where i am, im living under the poverty line and nobody will hire me because i have 30 contact hours at uni and including breaks about 40-50 hours (im from the country so parents isnt an option)

so my question is… how can i get over her? im really trying but rly struggling… atm it feels like i never will and i just feel dead inside (and please dont say just move on… oh and most exercise is out of the question as i just fractured my ankle in a taekwondo competition)

You can’t contact her, I know it’s hard but that’s the first step. What you wanna do is contact someone that you both are friends with or one of her friends that you’ve met with. You can tell that friend or her friend that you wanna talk to them about her. After talking for awhile you can start to ask that friend to ask her things for you, such as: if she regrets it at all, would ever go back, etc. if she does even a little bit, then you can contact her and tell her about you struggling to pay the bills now and hopefully spark something from there. Though if she doesn’t, the real question: How do you get over her? You need to get out and meet people. It might be difficult with your schedule but you need to make some time to do so. Go out with friends and go to a party, you’ll notice that when you’re out with your friends you’re not thinking about her. Hopefully meet another out there. Sorry to hear and the best of luck to you.

How do I tell my parents im flunking out of college and moving in with my boyfriend?
I am about to confront my parents on my failing grades, and im scared to death. I`m very sensitive and hardly speak back to them. My boyfriend is going to come get me, since I will have to leave my dad`s car behind. My parents are known to motivate by fear, and my dad is a very violent and cruel man when he gets pissed. any advice? Personally if you feel you could be harmed call the sheriff’s office or police
and have one stand by while you pack your stuff and move out with your boyfriend.

So, leave you’re an adult. You claim your boyfriend is going to "rescue" you…is he willing to support you because with out a degree you are basically unemployable and in this economy it’s not going to be easy to get a job. Keep in mind that once you are out of your parent’s home you are responsible for your own medical/dental bills. If you wind up having to go into hospital YOU will have to pay for it. Unless your boyfriend wants to pay the thousands of dollars it could take, considering you are an adult therefore not his dependent and you won’t be able to be on HIS insurance either since you’re not married. But I’m sure he won’t mind you using him for financial purposes. After all he is going to "rescue" you.

Really bad relationship problems…should i stay?
So i’ve had this boyfriend for over two months now, and lemme tell you its been a trip. First before we started going out i liked his best friend, and i’ve liked his best friend on and off for a year. My boyfriend wasn’t here he year before so i just met him this year. Anyways i liked his best friend before i even knew my boyfriend liked me. So then i found out they both liked me, but me and his best friend (Isaac) had a fling last year so he told my boyfriend (Cody) to ask me out and he did, and i said yes…but i liked isaac 100% more.
Then after he asked me out, me and isaac ended up having English together, and we sat right next to eachother…in the back corner of the room. That caused problems because i was trying to stop liking him but it only made me want him more. And on top of that Isaac was with me and Cody all the time at school so it was like a constant reminder.
Eventually a week later cody found out and we got into an arguement. The day of that arguement i went to a football game with my best friend, and she had never made out with anyone so we found two guys and we each made out with one of them..so i cheated. I cheated for one reason. Cody is a druggie, mega mega druggie. He’s done everything except club drugs…but he says hes a virgin (this comes up later). I cheated because i couldnt deal with that. I’m miss good grades never smoked in my life, dating a body builder whos a druggie and mega drug dealer. So we got into an arguement about me liking isaac and broke up, but i never told him i cheated on him… then the next day we got back together. Then a week later i felt guilty and told him and he freaked out and cried and all that stuff and we broke up at school at break all to get back together again after school.
Then i went away to Wonder Valley and i met a few guys from my high school and they were on my swim team, and little did i know one of them had been liking me for a month. I went for his friend, but it was harmless flirting one because me and cody were still together and two he had a girlfriend. But then after wonder valley i broke up with cody because the guy that liked me up there was amazing. He was my type, Mr. 4.5gpa amazing swimmer, and comes from a great family. But then we got back together yet again all to my amazement to find out he had been taking steriods…the entire time we had been going out, after i begged him not too for a good reason. But we didnt break up, it just made us trust eachother less. Then I found out rumors from his friends that before he moved he was a total jerk to his girlfriends, he had sex with them and left them, hes done so many sexual things and crap, he told me i was the first girl he ever madeout with, and he denied it like i though he would, but i dropped it. Then i smoked with my good friend (weed) after cody aked me not too, but i was stressed and id never done it before, and plus i asked him not to do steriods so i figure wtf ill just do it. There’s 18 movies on the list and only 7 are kids movies. There’s no excuse for the other 11.
Also, even horror fans are disappointed with Orphan, The Unborn, Sorority Row, Halloween 2, and The Final Destination.

And anybody who likes a bunch of the movies on that list clearly doesn’t know movies, cause they’re all being considered for the Razzies. In other words, they’re really bad.

People are saying Transformers 2 is the worst movie of the year because after the first Transformers movie, people built up a lot of hype. The second Transformers did not live up to the hype. Period.

Movies are a matter of opinon – I personally like a bunch of those movies on your list, but I hate Transformers – only because Transformers is not my type of movie. Plus, you can’t even compare half those movies on your list to Transformers – they are not even close in genre. Most are kids movies – an adult probably wouldn’t like them. The rest are horror movies – someone who doesn’t like horrors would think that the horror movies were terrible. You need to learn to compare things that are alike!

I had this crazy dream it was back in time maybe like 1960s to the 70’s i was on a bus in a down town based area like new york i was standin in the bus everyone was wearing bell bottoms and other stuff from that era people were walkin down the streets jammin out to music kinda like something straight out of the movies the song Shining Star by Earth Wind and Fire was playin on the bus and then the bus stopped and i looked out the window at a man who had his back turned to me he was wearing this green trench coat like army jacket like one of those vietnam jackets and turned around and looked at me his face was cut up and sliced mostly around the bridge of his nose he had sharp teeth kinda like baraka from mortal kombat and jet black eyes he looked right at me like he was lookin into my soul and he smiled i was scared shitless i woke up in a sweat and i was freaked out what do guys think it means.

Big Momma’s House (2000) IMDB rating: 4.60 Plot: FBI agent Malcolm Turner is known best for being a brilliant, master of disguise. crazy child hood or what?
what do you think about my child hood yes my family is redneck listen to this story of my child hood.

me my bro chirs my sis emily my cousin dillon,jazzy,and dakota.

so any ways when i was 10 i was playing on my swing set and i climed on top of it and fell off and broke my arm as i was running inside ot my momma i fliped over the matress in our yard and broke my other arm. the day i got both of my cast off me my big bro lil sis and cousins all had to pick up and throw bricks away in our yard well emily(my sis) didnt wont to do that so she hid behind our gargage can and when me chris (my bro) and jazzy (my cousin) went to throw our briks in we all missed and they landed ontop of emily head and cut it open she had to be rushed to the hospital. that same day. about 6 oklock me my bro jazzy dillon and dokotoa all decided we didnt wont to throw briks away any more so we decide to go to our tree well this tree is very very very old and we had a trampoleen (idk how i will decribe this) but the trampollen legs were broke so we put the trampllen in the tree (do not ask how we just did) and we were jumping and stuff on it and it started to rain and we didnt care and all of a sudden the tree fell over and landed on top of us we were there screaming for about an hour and my next door nabor came over then called the cops and abulance bla bla bla and when we got to the hospital. my ankle finger and shoulder was broke.jazzys hands and foot was broke.chris’s arms were broke. dillons legs were broke.and dakotas arm and leg was broke.WOW i know then the next day at church we were up stairs for sunday school and we all were going down the stairs to big church and emily. pushed every body and we all fell down the stairs….emily broke her nose and when we got home i gave her another black eye. but me and jazzy had to get stiches up our arms and new cast.dillon chris and dokota broke there fingers and knee… and had to get new cast….
